In our continued effort to bring you all of the latest happenings in FarmVille, today we bring you another Valentine's Day themed edition of the FarmVille Sneak Peek. This time, we've found five new items - two animals, and either two or three decorations, depending on how Zynga classifies one item in particular.
The two animals are the Heart Elephant and the Pink Swan. With the recent fuss over Ducklings, it will be interesting to see if the Pink Swan is added to the list of options for growing a Duckling, or if it is simply placed in the store as a premium animal available for purchase. The Heart Elephant, then, continues in this year's theme of releasing pink animals covered in hearts.
As for the other three items, they are the Chocolate Fountain (which animates with flowing chocolate), a Romantic Pavilion (a great accompaniment to the Romantic Gazebo), and the Lady Gouldian Finches. Personally, I'd say that these are some of the prettiest birds released in the game - it would only be better if you could actually harvest from these birds, or if each individual bird were larger.
As usual, there's no guarantee that these items will officially be released in the game, so keep that in mind.
Check out the rest of our Valentine's Day coverage right here.
Will you purchase any of these items should they be released in FarmVille, or are you ready to move on from the Valentine's Day theme already?

FarmVille Sneak Peek: Long Onions, Lilac Daffodils, Strapsberry, Purple Tomato and More
Earlier today, we brought you a look at a quick trio of unreleased crops in FarmVille, that will most likely be released in the game as part of the upcoming Greenhouse feature, which will allow you to create hybrid crops to plant and master on your farm. While Fire Peppers, Rice Meal and Jalapenos are one thing, this newest set of unreleased crops comes in the form of not only food items, but also some of the prettiest flowers we've seen in the game to date.
These new crops are (from left to right in the image above): Long Onions, Lilac Daffodils, Strapsberries (a mix between strawberries and raspberries), Purple Tomatoes, Whiskey Pete, Red Spinach, Squashkin (squash mixed with pumpkin), and Poppy Sunflowers.
Again, if and when these crops are released as part of the upcoming Greenhouse, they will all be masterable, so I hope you have the patience necessary to make your way through each one, one by one. No word yet as to the harvesting times or costs of these new crops, but we'll be sure to bring you all of the stats once they officially launch in the game.

FarmVille English Countryside Sneak Peek: Emperor's Hops sprout up
Zynga has wasted no time in releasing new crops, buildings and more to its FarmVille expansion, English Countryside. In fact, FarmVille Freak is finding hints at new crops in unexpected places like the game's Mastery charts. At this point, you have to think at least some of these leaks are intentional. (Very sneaky, Zynga.)
Players have reported finding a crop called Emperor's Hops in their Mastery charts within the game. There's no information given about the crop other than that it will take 780 harvests to reach the first Mastery tier. At the very least, it's safe to guess that Bushels from the Emperor's Hops will be used in future Pub recipes. Either way, we'll surely find out everything we need to know about these apparently superior hops soon enough.

Have you seen this unreleased crop in your Mastery charts yet? What type of beers do you think Emperor's Hops will create?

FarmVille English Countryside Sneak Peek: Downy Birch Tree & Silver Birch Tree
Two new trees will apparently be coming to the English Countryside theme in FarmVille in the very near future, or so say this newest set of unreleased images. We've found pictures of both a Downy Birch Tree (also called the European White Birch Tree) and the Silver Birch Tree (a European ornamental tree), along with their mastery signs.
These two trees have no office release date, although we expect them to show up in the game as early as Sunday evening, when FarmVille is expected to update in full next. As they are both Birch trees, it's likely that one will be the Mystery Seedling of the other, and if history tells us anything, they'll be priced at 5 and 10 Farm Cash, although we don't know which tree will be the more expensive one.
We'll make sure to give you all of the details about these trees as they officially become available in the game.
Which of these two trees do you hope is the cheaper of the two, or do you like them enough to buy both?

FarmVille Sneak Peek: Mother's Day decorations coming soon
If we needed any more confirmation that a small Mother's Day theme will be coming to FarmVille, here it is. We've come across a small set of four new decorative items that will be launching in the game this year, with one being an absolutely adorable sign containing a mama and baby bird (get ready to say "awww").
That item looks to be called just the "Mother's Day Sign," although we imagine the name might be jazzed up before the item's official release (which could come as early as this Wednesday). The other three items are the Mother's Day Gnome (what mother wouldn't love breakfast in bed?), a lovely Flower Basket that looks to be filled with a wide variety of flowers like bright yellow daffodils, and the Dahlia Flowerbed. Personally, Dahlias are my favorite flower, so excuse me if I get a bit over excited about its release (you'll know when it launches, as you'll hear my excited "Yip" through your computer speakers... well, maybe not, but you get the idea).
If history tells us anything, for these sorts of smaller-holiday or event themes, the items don't really last that long in the store. That being the case, you'll want to keep an extra eye on your game's marketplace to know when these launch, or just keep checking back with us here, as we'll make sure you're the first to know. Just be prepared for the Mother's Day Sign to cost Farm Cash - that's the only way you'll be able to send it to your game-playing mom!
What do you think of these Mother's Day themed unreleased items? Will you send your mother a virtual Mother's Day gift in FarmVille?

FarmVille Sneak Peek: New Collections system coming soon
This is not your average FarmVille Sneak Peek. No sir, today we present to you a brand new feature that's headed to Zynga's cash crop (I know, brilliant): A new Collections system. FarmVIlle Feed has found some early images of the upgraded Collections feature, revealing that any partially-completed Collection will be finished off once this update lands. While no other significant details are provided, we can infer from the images that Collections will take on a sort of Mastery system.
FarmVille Collections Prizes
This means that players could be able to complete Collections more than once for even greater prizes than before. It looks as if players will "level up" their Collections to redeem huge rewards as levels increase. Now, as long as the game doesn't make Collection items requirements for future Goals, we'll be in the clear.

Have you seen hints of this new feature appear in your game? What do you think of an improved, scalable Collections system?

FarmVille Lighthouse Cove Sneak Peek: Restaurant Crafting Cottage revealed
Another day, another Lighthouse Cove teaser image in FarmVille. But I assure you farmers, this update isn't boring - it instead offers us as look at the new Crafting Cottage we'll be able to use once Lighthouse Cove opens up in full!
To be specific, the new Crafting Cottage comes in the form of a restaurant with lovely striped awnings and even seagulls hanging out on the roof. You might recognize this building from the Loading Screen image released just days ago, although this of course shows off much more of the building's detail.
In terms of new recipes, you'll be able to craft items like Cheddar Cheese and Clam Chowder. Here's the full scoop from Zynga:
Harvest your new crops and collect new bushels because Lighthouse Cove has all new recipes. Craft and master new recipes like Farm House Cheddar Cheese and Clam Chowder in your very own restaurant!
Of course, we'll also likely be able to upgrade the restaurant to earn more recipes and crafting tables, although it hasn't been made clear yet whether this pictured Restaurant will be the permanent appearance for the building, or if it will change in shape or size as we upgrade it. We'll make sure to bring you those details, and more, as soon as Lighthouse Cove launches "soon."
What do you think of the Restaurant Crafting Cottage? Does this announcement raise your anticipation for Lighthouse Cove? Sound off in the comments.

FarmVille Sneak Peek: Black Necked Swan and other birds ready to take flight
If you've already become a big fan of the Aviary animal habitat in FarmVille, you'll be happy to know that new birds are ready to take flight into the game sometime soon, that is, if new unreleased images spotted by FarmVille Freak are anything to go on. These images show us five new birds, but we're not entirely sure how they'll be released. Before we get into the speculation, however, let's take a look at their expected names:
Blue Sumatra Rooster
Black Necked Swan
Sebastopol Goose
Dabbler Duck
Ancona Duck
While the Sebastopol Goose might seem like one heck of a name (alright, it is), it does refer to a real breed of domestic Goose. As for how these animals will launch in the game, we have a couple of options. They could either launch as a fairly large update to the game's store, which will likely see these birds priced in the 15-25 Farm Cash range, or they could be new birds that will be found inside Eggs that we'll hatch over time by collecting from our Aviaries (or claiming them from friends' wall posts).
Either way, there are some real lookers in this update (just look at the Rooster's beautiful coloring!), so I'm personally excited to see how and when they'll launch. Experience tells us that the earliest we can expect them would be sometime this weekend, so keep checking back with us for more.

FarmVille Sneak Peek: FarmVille Friends feature finally detailed
While the FarmVille Friends feature has yet to go live in FarmVille (we're told that it's still a "couple of weeks" away), Zynga has finally detailed just how it will work. Not entirely unlike the Cafe World Chef Circle (which, again, is still unavailable to the mass public), you'll be able to browse through a list of FarmVille players that aren't your Facebook friends, and can send them neighbor requests. In this way, you'll be able to access some of the social features you can take part in with actual Facebook friends with these strangers.
Unfortunately, your interaction with these new FarmVille neighbors will be limited to simply visiting their farm or sending them free gifts. It doesn't look like we'll be able to see any of their News Feed requests or bonuses, which diminishes the value of this update immensely, if you ask me. To actually add these folks, you'll simply visit the "Add Neighbors" tab at the top of the screen. From there, you'll see five players at a time, and can see their names, current profile picture, country, in-game level, and when they last played. In this way, you can pick and choose the best "crop" of neighbors to help you out. You'll have to send a neighbor request to this individual, and they'll have to accept on their end for this to work. On that same token, you may find yourself swamped with neighbor requests if you continually show up in players' results when using this new feature. Note: You can remove yourself from the pool if you don't care to be found by strangers.
To be especially clear, these new FarmVille neighbors will have no additional access to any information you have made private on your profile, and do not have to be your Facebook friends. If, however, you find that they are incredibly helpful when it comes to visiting your farm, tending your crops or Chicken Coop, and you wish to add them as a real Facebook friend to open up further interaction, you can do that as well. Again, this feature has yet to launch, but we'll make sure to let you know when it does over the next couple of weeks.
What do you think of these details about the FarmVille Friends feature? Should Zynga create a way for us to be able to activate these new neighbors' wall posts, in addition to simply visiting their farms? Sound off in the comments.
